Seen the same pic last year. Said it was caught in So. Illinois and weighed a little over 4 lol
Wouldn't think a 5lber would come from Lake Conway--but it does have some big redear.
World record is just over 5 lbs. That's a big, big fish but dont think so. Besides, seen that picture for a year or more now.
Was one on the Illinois board last week about 1/2 that size that said it was 5lbs. 9 ozs. It too was from Arkansas.
nice fish, it's a trophy for a lot of people, but no way in H E double hocky sticks is that any where near 5 lbsrotfl

That same fish supposedly came out of Kincaid Lake in Southern Illinois about 5 years ago
Fish is 4 5, caught in Illinois in 2010, kincaid lake
Only place to catch fish that big is in MISSISSIPPI !

I would weewee if I saw one like that at the end of my line.
It doesn't look like a 5 lb. fish from that pic. I don't know whether it had a 1 lb shad down it's throut or what. I've caught fish that looked that big and they weren't over 2.75 lbs.It would kinda make you wiz especially if you're an old geezer like me!!That's why I'm headed back to that diaper stage!!
