I just checked it out - it runs Feb. 10-12. Maybe we could all get together for B and B later?

Bed and Breakfast?
Well, since I have only met other males on this site, I think I will pass on Huntcapn's offer :) Besides, and I know this will break a lot of female hearts out there - I am married.
Actually, I was thinking of beer and burgers.

Oh!!!:yikes.....Sorry Pete;).....I best pay a lil' better attention next time:cheers2.....sounds like a date to me:biggrin
That's fine huntcapn!. BTW, I DO hope you are talking about the beer and burgers ;) Just because I bought a pink bucktail at BPS last weekend, doesn't mean...........;) And just because I tied the jig in the attached picture, don't get the wrong idea!

man thats to pretty to fish with
Thanks. that one is a little big for crappie - 1.5 oz. The post is for a spinner blade. They work great in the Gulf - snapper, AJ, etc. I am making some smaller ones that I want to try on whites and hybrids here.

Pete do you need someone to test the jigs? Cannot make to the sports show, been there with LBM a couple times, ended up buying more fishing tackle than I needed.
Ron,
We KNOW they work for stuff in the Gulf. I have the pics to prove it. Wanna try some for hybrids or whites?

P.S. When it gets a little warmer we can try them at Clinton from my boat.
OK, now all you need to do is find time off work this summer, an we will get after those fighters.
I NEED to find time off from work this spring and summer! No joke! Last spring I had been ill for a bit and I wound up working my butt off for quite a while to get things back on track. I need to get out fishing to make up for that. Hybrid fishing it is!

bet they would work on them glen eyes
I haven't been out there to fish, but I would think that it would work on eyes. However, I have another jig that I am making that I want to try for eyes. Do you guys think this would work? It works on saltwater stuuf - as shown below.

a cherrio with a tail ya never know
They are called "fluke balls" - and they are used for fishing for fluke (aka flounder) in the Northeast. I make them up to 8 oz. A buddy of mine has been using them for snapper (see the pic) off of Alabama. It is funny, I caught lots of fluke when I lived in NY, but they must have all been female :biggrin
