Welcome from Springfield Ohio. I'm new here as well.
Several here from central Oh. I Hail fromWCH just south of Springfield, kind of in the middle of Deer Creek, Paint Creek and fairly close to Rocky Fork lakes . I guess not to far from Ceasers Creek also. I haven't fished CJ yet and from sounds of it should try the Marina , is it fishable from the docks ?.
Thanks for the welcome! It would be nice to meet some of you guys from my area if you would want to.

If can get together can "doctor" a map for you. They are available at the Buck Creek State Park Office on the right as you come in. Just ask Melissa the receptionist for 1...
Hey Glasseyes. Yes you can fish from the boat docks during Winter and there are plenty of docks. Everyone I have meet there is supper nice. I think alot of the regulars "most retired" fish there through the week. I work days so most of my time is put in on the week end. I try to sneak over after work when I can. Satuday the ice was a little over 1.5 maybe 2. With the rain we just got who knows whats left.
Your area is known for nice Crappie. Which is your favorite honey hole???
Hey Lowellhturner. I have one of those maps you mentioned. I'd love to get mine doctored up. I'm buying a Kayak this Spring and plan on searching for hot spots. I can't wait.
Welcome Dave, from cajun country, Louisiana
I have been fishing Rocky Fork lake last two months, up through November fished at Deer Crek lake behind the dam in lake with pretty good luck. I have not seen any ice on Rocky Fork lake at least not around docks in deepest end of lake. I have probably had most luck there although nothing to speak of. I've been catching as many Largemouth bass in twenty feet of water on crappie jigs as I have crappie, but it's been fun and something to do. I'm hoping to try Paint creek lake this weekend if water looks good. I also work ten hr. days through the week so I'm restricted to weekend fishing also.
Welcome from Florida
