Creekslick has forgotten more about crappie fishing than I will ever no.We in Batesville Ark have some pretty good bait makers Rightbite baits and jig tyers in our little town.We have to make our own baits if went want to catch fish.
Way to go man! I'm an old, well young I guess bass fisherman too but those crappie have got me interested in them over the past 4 or 5 years or so. Just the feel of a 10 or 12' B&M pole in my hand trolling along and that thump on the other end is a blast.
Nice catch, trolling or fishing brush piles?
Fishing pole timber is what we call it in about 20-30 feet of water you will fish several trees and only one or two will have crappie on it.We cast our jigs and grubs to the tree count down to about 10 sometimes 15 and start reeling real slow. You can fish 10 trees just alike and only 2 or 3 will have fish we are covering a lot of water Devils fork, middle fork and 5 fingers area south fork.
Nice crappie!
WTG! Nice fish
