Got a few this morning. It was 16 when we headed out fishing, calm and cold. Crappie's were tight to the bottom and not biting very good. I kept switching jigs till I put on a real small ball head green jig that RonDon had made me. Well, they liked it and I came home with 9. For me, 9 is a good catch, just right for Sandy & I..Attachment 78775

We started at 8:30 and went in at 11:00 We started to go out at 7:30 but my friends minnows were dying so we had to go get more, and they started to die. I ask him what had been in his bucket? Something in it was killing the minnows. We switched buckets and saved the most of them. It was just one of those days!!Quote:
