I came in from church, and decided to do nothing after last Sunday evening messing everything up. I was transferring weighpoints from one Hds to another and got a message that one had been moved on the unit. It asked me if I wanted to go ahead, I punched enter and lost ever w/p on both units, Couple hours of putting them back in by hand. Today I went on and poured 200 1/8 roundhead on some lite wire hooks. Figured something would go wrong, but they turned out good. Now I got to try them out
Good looking jigs Wayne! I really like the Pink/Chart.
Dave
Dang creek you are good...That solid black would be a killer on bluegill in a small size.
I've been tying a few the last couple nights myself, but they don't look as good as yours, mine are gorilla jigs, big strong and ugly.

Good looking jigs. It looks like they'll catch but I'm not sure. You need to let me "roadtest" some to make sure they're ok to use:biggrin
like them all but i like the pink/char. i have heard thts the go color on conway
Good lookin' jigs, Wayne. When you post that you are long lining jigs, is that what your pulling? No wondoer you catch so many fish!!! :biggrin
Nice lookin jigs!!
Do you need my address?
My most unfavorite jig to tie is a horse head. I tied 25 one time and none since. Did you powder coat or paint the heads? I found out how to powder paint the head without clogging up the swivel. After I heated the head I dipped the swivel in cold water to cool it so the powder wouldn't stick. You did a good job. I had nothing to do today so I PPainted heads and painted eyeballs on them.
As usual,,I worked like a dog..its work waiting on my disability check to come in, rest of you snap too..get to work..lol
Yea I learned the water trick about a year ago. If these had been for sale I would have painted eyes on them.
those are some fine looking lures..if I was casting to them, I'd be calling you...lol
Nice...those look like more fillets in the freezer!
pink & chart. are good colors in any water !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Creek you didn't answer the question???? Are these the type jigs you use longlining? They sure do look good. What size are they?
Yes I use these to longline, that's why I did not paint eyes on them because I know I am going to lose them.
Creek how much do you get for those poneys???
Nice looking Wayne.
Those are good looking jigs. I've been painting heads myself lately. I'll paint a few, hang em, let em dry and paint em again. I always use a clear coat over that once it drys so they won't chip up too bad. The rubber skirts aren't too high so I usually just buy them. now the lead can get pricey so pouring your own isn't a bad idea. I pour all my egg weights for bass and cat fishing though, just don't have the jig head mold.
Creek - What are the best colors for Greers?
Very nice jigs Creek!!!
