I need a jig tyer to tie me up some custom jigs with these Black Duck feathers. I don't have many ideas for them but so you can go buck wild and make me up some crazyness. This is my first black duck and I thought it would be cool to have some jigs made with them. Thanks just message me with some ideas and maybe some prices, im looking to buy about 2 dozen jigs. Hopefully the pics arent to bad im a rookie picture taker...LOL

Send me some of those feathers, not too many, and I'll tie some up for you. It will be like getting boots made from an Elk skin. Happy to do it.better still, take a quick lesson and tie some for yourself. If I can do it, it isn't that hard. Pm me and let me know.
That looks like a Gadwall, either way it will make some cool jigs

I hope you put them in the freezer for awhile. Most feathers are a bit buggy. Make sure they are absolutely dry or they will sour! They will make some neat jigs!

I tied a few from some Greys I was given. I will tell you this, they're Verrrry buoyant. And make for a nice dark shiner.

I love tying duck jigs, it's one of my favorites. Those are some really nice feathers, looks like gadwall feathers.
