dont know about prices.............but save your money till you can get the 800 series or better,i own 798 it works very well,but small screen makes image very hard to distinquish details

I bought the 798si HD for $848. I see them advertised cheaper, but they not may be the HD model which is ethernet compatible.

My buddy scored one good deal on a 798CI SI Combo at Cabelas just after Christmas. He found one in the bargain cave and asked for a best price right now and walked out with it for $608/tx. Thats a steal!!! Even if it's not HD. Hows come I'm always broke when these things happen?
