Is it the powder form or the liquid? I'd be darned careful if its the liquid since it likely has a solvent base....add that to hot plastic and you might get some ugly gases come from it. I'm not sure about the powder form of the stuff, maybe 1/2 to 1 tsp of it to the 4 oz of plastic.
I don't think that it will gain you much. This new UV stuff is supposed to be applied to the surface of baits. The plastic, even clear, will filter light enough to just about stop any UV enhancement from happening. Solid colors, and even transparent colors, will prevent any UV enhancement from happening, period. If the product has any luminescent pigments in it they'll probably be pretty much diluted or not very concentrated so you'll have to add quite a bit to get things to work in the glow department.
I've tried some of the surface coatings and can't say that any have made a positive impression on me.
The uv glow works great. I just squirt some in i dont really measure it. Its pretty thick stuff. This is an old pic under a blacklight but will give you a good idea how it works. These are all Fl orange. Can you tell which one doesnt have it!:biggrin Flourescents glow under a black light but nothing like the ones enhanced!

I don't think so. It is designed to be mixed in with plastic. The stuff looks brown in the bottle. I think it has to go through a reaction to work. I ran a test on it. Made some blue and shot some baits. Then I mixed in the UV blast and made another batch. Put them under the black light and the blue with the UV did glow and the original blue did not. I've often wondered how many black lights there are down there with the fish.
To a scientist it works great but to a fish?? Let put a live shad under a light to see what it looks like. That is some super cool stuff. Who would of though I would turn in to a crappie chemist? Couple drops of color, splash of scents, a hint of softener, a touch of stabilizer and mix in plastic.... BAM a crappie bait lol
