Spring Crappie Camp, Lake Chicot, AR - Invitation and Supplies Sign-up List

Spring Crappie Camp will be the weekend of March 30th and 31st at the Pecan Grove Campground on Lake Chicot at Lake Village, Arkansas. We will arrive on Friday and have a meet and greet dinner for the ones that can make it Friday evening. Saturday we will have a Big Mama tournament (biggest fish). You may fish any lake in the area (no entry fee) but you must be at camp by 3:00 p.m. for the weigh-in. Saturday night we will have a fish fry and give out some door prizes!!! Fishing Sunday is optional. Everyone is invited so come and have a good time and meet and visit with other Crappie.commers and their guests. Ed Moes (Slab), Crappie.com owner, and his sidekick, billbob, are planning on attending. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!!! Like I said I will bring the cooker and oil, I will also be bringing my wife. She will not be fishing so I'm looking for a fishing partner that can show my how to catch fish.

I can do crappie if I can find em hopefully my new fish finder help out with that

I grilled a bobcat one time in my younger days. Couldn't drink enough Crown to get it down.

I can bring my cooker if needed. It sounds like Harold's might do the job better than mine though.
Put me down for my home grown fish meal and I will assist harold on the cooking.

Nimrod what u do is catch the cats then starve them then take them to the water and let them show u where the fish are it'll save u money on a fish finder if u can get to the fish before the cats eat em :bash

I think I got the list fixed don't know what I did to gum it up like I did.

If I was going for the biggest crappie for the day i would have to take the short drive over to Grand Lake just outside of Eudora Arkansas. That should be perfect time for the fish to be piled up across the lake from the boat ramp. Its not difficult to see where the fish are biting, it will be boat to boat. As a teen, on Grand Lake a friend and I caught the biggest crappie I have ever seen. It was caught on a yoyo. It weighed 3 pounds 13 ounces on the scales at the boat launch store and was almost the length of the igloo cooler. That fish ended up being a male "no eggs in late winter".

I have 2 friends who are planning on attending.

I am going to try to work this into my schedule. If I can make it I will bring some soft drinks & a few Crappieholic Apparel items for door prizes.
