It's an additional $35 over what you pay for your regular tags. And that's not a one-time charge, it's every year. I went to the revenue office today and they told me I could renew my plates now (they expire in March) and swap for a black crappie plate (up to now I've had a trout plate) and the new ones would expire in March 2013. In other words, I don't lose two months by renewing early, I just get 14 months before I have to renew again. Going in tomorrow and get my new crappie plates!:crazy:

I got mine today. Nothing else changed. My renewal date is still May 2012. That was at the Cabot office.
