Welp-I did it--cut all the carpet per my drawings--and I don't have to buy more carpet--holy cow. This was the rough fit. Got all cut except for the rear deck outline. Wannabe--where you at on yo boat?

Coming along nicely. Great job.
tks--I was really dreading that part--had to take the carpet next door to my neighbors deck to lay the carpet out (he's at work:) ) but he don't mind.
Looks real good.
One thing about carpet--make sure you take it outside before you buy it. It looked a bit darker in the warehouse==but oh well--it won't be as hot on the bare feetbanghead
Looks great!!!
good job
Looks great, man.
Looks like new again. You did a fine job
Thanks for the thumbs ups from yall.
That looks like the work of a pro. I'm intimidated to try something like that. Lol
Looks really good.
wow-now--I might get an ego--just kidding-I really appreciate that. I have been looking at pics, measuring, drawing, measuring again since August (I'm a bit compulsive that way) but it really is no big deal once you get into it. The whole working on a boat thing intimidates me--but I got to and would rather do it myself anyway. The real pain so far has been the lids. The way Ranger did them is insane (if you want to replace the carpet). Thank goodness my neighbor is a good one--or else I would have been waiting for my yard to dry out before I could have marked and cut.
lookin good
Will have pics tomorrow of the lids. Got 5 done today--two more to go
Good job, looks awesome.
Lids covered--don't have the hinges placed yet-just got them sitting in the boat so I can move around a bit easier--and so they can air out--that formica contact cement is stout.
Look factory done to me. Great job.
Thank you--Hahaha--maybe I can start a new job doing boat carpet--I would like it better than my normal one fo sho. I was a bit chilly today but I just couldn't help to stick the carpet to the rear deck seat pad. So now just have the trim around the rear deck, the front deck and the main floor to stick--and it will be done. It may have to wait till spring unless we get some good warm days.
