Chuck, There is a website that shows all the non ethanol stations. I'll look for it. Only 2 around Conway, and I think 5 in LR. I'll find it and post it.
If you cant run ethanol free gas atleast make sure youre using an additive to keep the ethanol from eating up the plastic lines, etc. I use Stabil in EVERYTHING but my car and truck.
Use the blue(marine) Stabil, and not the red. I have had problems with ethanol in all small engines before I started using the blue.
If you are in Little Rock and fish Lake Maumelle you can buy non-ethanol gasoline at Kings One Stop going out Hwy 10 West.
There used to be a thread on here listing a bunch of filling stations in Arkansas that had non-ethanol gas. There was two in Conway at one time but Bell Brothers Fina on Dave Ward Drive quit selling it. Told me they couldn't get it anymore from their distributor. The other one was just North of Conway on the Greenbrier Highway, I think maybe a Shell station? Good luck finding it.
try this link:
Ethanol-free gas stations in AR
www.pure_gas.org( This link didn't work on my phone, just google it)
The stations are listed by state, and then by cities.
You can't STORE ethanol because it absorbs moisture from the air. Even with the stabilizers, the alcohol will still absorb the moisture and phase separate, like oil and vinegar for a salad. The problem is that you can't remix it after it separates. If you're gonna store your boat or whatever over 6-8 weeks, you need to use the gas, in that tank, in your car or lawn mower, or dump it out. Run yer engine until the fuel is out, and drain the bowl on the carb(s), on longer term layoffs. If ya don't, call me for repairs. I see it EVERY day.
BTW, Never put fresh gas on top of old, the ethanol usually has already separated on the bottom of the tank, plus if you don't have an alcohol resistant tank and fuel line, the ethanol will deteriorate the rubber and run it through your carbs or injectors.

Thanks for the link...great web site...been driving to Imboden...now I see there is one in Hoxie...already had to replace a fuel can and have carb cleaned...hopefully never again...thanks once more...
I have been using the Marine Stabil in all my outdoor equipment and boat for over a year with no problem. Lukas also makes an additive for ethonol.
Thanks for the web site guys
I sell gallons of Stabilizers, and they certainly help. I was referring to Long Term storage.(6 months or longer) Eventually the ethanol WILL break down. Some engines, especially EFI engines are more tolerant to the phase separation because of the amount of fuel pressure in those systems. 38lbs. plus fuel pressure will force the ethanol through the fuel system, even if it has separated, and won't burn efficiently. The BTU rating of ethanol is considerably lower than regular gas, and also adds to the problem.

to solve all the problems with ethanol gas JUST GO FISHING TWICE A WEEK and you will not have any trouble with it i promise!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that sounds like a perfectly good solution to the problem!!:fish
That would be the best solution I've heard of!!!!

You can run sea foam additive to clean it first and then don't let it sit long like they say go 2 times a wk.
