Nice pics Blackhawk and Shake. I had some killer pics of those birds that fly along the side of your boat while your going down the lake. I don't know what kind of bird it is but they sure can fly fast I have never out run one. My camera found a new home, i would have gave them enough money to buy a new one and keep mine just for my card.

Killer pics. Are those brindle dogs cur or plott?
They are Plotts. Huron (from Michigan) and Allision bred.
How about the yellow dogs? My Bonzo dog is a Kemmer Stock Mt. Cur. He's a brindle, but he had litter mates that were yellow. I saw your yellow dogs along with the brindles and thought they might be cur. super nice pics thanks for posting.

Tennessee River (1938) right where Ky Dam was built 1938-1944...
Town of "Old Gillbertsville" in the background before it had to be moved for Ky Dam construction...
Northern tip of "27 Mile Island" visable in lower right of image...
Railroad bridge pilings (seen in the pic) are still in the river today just downstream (north) of the dam...
The "swing bridge" (seen on left west edge of river) was loaded onto barges and moved to be used somewhere else in the Tennessee River system....

Looks really flat, what's the length of the dam and the depth of the water at the dam?

Thanks to kosmo we have SI images of the coffer dams still in the water that were used to redirect the Tennesse River during dam construction...
