What I find up here in the ice box is that sometimes a bait listed as being fish specific, like the crappie dance, with a littlw tweaking becomes a dynamite walleye/sauger lure. Usually it involves stretching it out a bit. Same goes with bass type worms....take a bit off the front and waldo finds favor in them.
Good thread for ideas.
the bait is 2 1/4" yes you can probably put a twister tail on these bodies haven't tried it yet but it should work that would definitely make it awesome bait for sure.Quote:

this is very true because we plastic that we use it is very durable and very strong before it breaks most people are quite concerned about being too soft and they are afraid that they will break or pull apart with the fish we have used some of my plastic baits and have caught over 100 fish and they are still going they may be a little chewed up but they have not pulled apart yet we are going to be doing some testing of new stuff that we will be getting in a week or so this is a lure craft #502 we will be trying other plastics as time goes by I've heard a lot about Candy Creek so we are willing to try some other stuff to see how it holds up the only thing that I'm concerned about with our on most plastics is they do not smoke or stink some of the plastics used in a pastoral horrible and we go back many years so they've improved on a lot of other stuff if you try any new plastics please post it on here we would like to hear your comments in that goes for the rest you guys we are all quite concerned and interested on new plastics that hit the market also I would like to add colors this is very critical to me is I hate to use them in they bleed there are only a few outlets that have them that do not bleed so any information on new stuff on colors we are also interested in different scents I do not like most of them are on the market is I have not found one that is really natural smelling I wish power bait crappie nibbles these people would come out with a liquid that we could add into our baits because it is definitely natural smelling the crappie nibbles.Quote:

here is a same bait with two tails these are Jacobs baits molds.
Those are super looking baits. Anything would eat those.
Snake....Caney's colorants are non-bleed in certain colors. I've got ten different colors from Caney and all are the non-bleed. Caney's plastic is a touch softer than Bear's in the super soft. Super soft is all I use for my panfish plastics. I do a lot of the transparent fluorescent colors and they are the non-bleed and I have had ) problems with any of them.
I have a couple of the curl tail minnow grub molds pictured above in 2" and a 3" one also. Got a customer that swears by them and says he has caught crappie, white and yellow perch on them in great numbers.CFQuote:
