Funny you should mention that! Got the stuff out of the attic and then sat on my butt while the kids took over the tradition. It was a nice day.

Tree went up Friday.
I am jealous of Your tree. Mine is 9 feet tall. I am a bigger scrooge than You are. will be glad to see it gone. Turned on the radio day after thanksgiving and it was all I heard. First song. I tried to put my fist through the radio as soon as I heard it. I reckon it will be Travis Tritt, The Eagles, and Van Halen with Sammy Hagar until after Christmas. And those stations that play that music through New Years are just plain wrong and need to be knocked on their rump-a-bump-bump. If I hear Rudolph by anybody else other than Burl Ives one more time, I think I'll die. I can handle a little Leroy the redneck woodsgoat though. I get nervous twitches when I hear boot scooten boogie for the ten millionth time during the year but have been hearing some of these retreads for 36 years. When I hear Have a Holly Jolly.............Oh just shut the he77 up, Gives me a case of the Larry's like You ain't ever seen.CF
