The women are going shopping. I'm gonna drop them off at the Outlet Mall, then I'm going on down the road to Cabela's. I don't really "shop". If I know what I want, it's in, get it, then out. WILL NOT go shopping with the wife. She has to pick up everything in the store and look at it.

Just got back from Cabela's. Minus $500.00. Caused a scene while I was in there. As I walked around the end of one of the gun racks, there were 3 teenagers pointing ARs at me while their mother was going to take a picture. Needless to say I went ballistic. Had every store employee within earshot around me in an instant. The mother was soooooo clueless that the boys were still in their "commando" stances when Cabela's people got there. They handled it a little more politely than me. As they were escorting the group away from the gun department, the mother said: "What's the big deal? They aren't loaded!" Absolutely clueless.:mad:

After they left the area, I asked the manager what she would have done had I ask her to see if my 96D had a 240 grain Golden Sabre in battery? He had a good laugh and said "Please don't". World is full of morons.

You were trained well, Tushhog. No clerks were involved. Unfortunately Cabela's puts all their used weapons on racks on the sales floor. Supposed to be locked, but when all you see is 3 AR's pointed at you, you don't take time to investigate, you react. These kids did not have a clue what they were doing. They were acting like someone that they've seen in some video game. It really is sad the way some of the next generation is being raised.

They should fire whom ever unlocked the gun rack. Someone could have bought ammunition there, loaded the gun, and blown the place apart. Good reaction JF.

All the used guns are in open racks. The are supposed to have the actions secured so they are not operational. But you never know.

I bet there were boxes of ammo on the shelves for sale. Hmmmmmmm, easily available ammo and loose firearms!!!!!!!! Too many people are shot every year by "unloaded" firearms!!!
