Anyone use hi-lites in your plastics? I saw some on a web site, and was curious about what it looks like in the plastic. Any info would be appreciated!Thumbs Up

Add it TO the plastic, start with a match head size. You will like it I promise if you use it right. add the blue to a light hot pink mix and its very close to morning dawn color of robo worm.
It adds a sheen to the surface of the plastic. I've only used blue, violet, and gold.
Thanks guys. I'm gonna order some and see for myself. I'll let you all know how it goes.
OK.....some of you say to dip the highlight....others say mix it in the plastic.....which way is the best way?
you dont dip it, its a dry powder. it would look at about the same to dip it in to baby powder. When mixed with plastic it gives off a contrasting to color. works best on dark colors but it can be used on about any color with varying effects. Its made to be mixed, not just in plastic but paints as well.
Does anybody have a pic of a un-high lited bait and then a high lited one so we can see what your talking about?
I'm sorry if I confused you but you do mix the powder like Keith said into plastic and then dip your bait is what I did I do not mix it directly into the plastic to shoot I like the finished better because it is clear and shines bright sheen to it when I dip my baits it just that different method of using it I'm sure Keith is right I have never mixed it directly into the plastic.
I dont have pics with it or with out it of the same color, when used it doesnt change the color of the bait BUT when the light hits it you will see the sheen of the highlight color. I have a thread on here about them on here with pics if someone would like to look at them.
Good example would be an earthworm in the sunlight. When the light hits it right you see that green or blue sheen. I have probs capturing the effects in a pic.
A good example is the blue glimmer found on kaylins grubs and some others. All it is , is a white plastic with the blue added to the plastic to give the blue skin color.
what you guys should post some plastic baits with highlight .
go to the other post on highlight I explained myself little bit better maybe originally I confused everybody by not explaining myself thoroughly sometimes my brain is not working:confused:
Its even more confusing on the other thread. I think you need to start over, lol......but anyway the highlight looks good, just can't figure out how your doing it.
