Pink
black and chartruse tube
I'm with you crappiepro but add a little blue sparkle.
pink, white, & chart
anything and chartruce
Ah,,come'on, how about one for winter, one for the other seasons...a purple body silver metalflake superjig for winter..all other times,,a orange body chartruce tail standard tube jig...unless I can get rtark to tie me some grim reapers....lol
I'm a newbie to crappie fishing, so I don't have the experience of you salty dawgs. But I'll say chartreuse/white since I had some luck on it recently.
Give me a pocket full of Meatgetter's Spankies!!!!!!
If he can't get'em you might as well go home!!!!!
2" Tennesee Shad twist tail.....maybe not in Conway , but lots of places .
MIne would be a black and silver Dana max bream jig, I have fish this in alot of lakes and rivers in Arkansas and I am here to tell you there is nothing swimming in the water that can refuse it, I can catch monster slabs on it or a mess of bluegill, have caught bunches of bass and even cat fish. If it swims it will eat it, even caught a turtle on it. I would not go hungry with A dana max jig.
If I could have only one it would be a 2" grub with pink body and chartreuse tail.
pink head,fl.yellow body and fl.yellow tail "SPANKY" MEATGETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You would'nt believe at all the fish other than Crappie I've caught on Umbrella Tubes in Purple / Chartruse.
German Carp , LM Bass , Spotted Bass, Drum, Gar, Channel Cats, Flathead Catfish , Buffalo , Bluegill, Green Sunfish, Yellow Bass , White Bass , and I'm sure a few others while catching thousands of Crappie. I really use several colors but all in the same bait, with Purple metal flake / Chartruse one of my favorites all year long.
1/16 roundhead PINK jighead with Bobby Garland baby shad in VEGAS!
HAHA!!! Don ya I havent heard RTARK mentioning tieing me a few of those yet either. He started rallying on me one day out here on Conway. Didnt tell me what he was using till he caught a 15 1/4 incher. Got To watch him another day he was in the back of the boat I was whacking em pretty good. He slid into my tackle box and got the bait I was using and started whacking em with me not knowing he switched baits. He's a crafty one. LOL
Kerry put a picture of that bait up here. I want to make sure I got it. LOL
My pick would be a blue/black body with chart tail in Southern Pro 2" Hot Grub.
I've always been partial to a chart/white super jig, but I've become a believer in Meatgetter's spanky in recent months!
Blue and white (Mississippi Queen) # 11 Meatgetter
I like any color as long as it is char and pink. I wish everyone could take a look in CP's diddy bag O baits! He has more stuff than BPS. I did slip a bait out of his magic bag of tricks but I was desperate, I was getting whacked pretty good (bad?)
1/16oz jighead with black/chartruese solid body. Does anyone know why they call them solid body tubes?
Yellow/ chart. Midsouth tube with a pink head or a Midsouth silver glitter head with chart. Tail on pink head. Those two will work almost anywhere except Grenada where orange and chart. Rules.
Lime green body and chartruse tail, works in all lakes, say's Capps and Coleman.
crappie cowboy
1/8 black chart marabou
Thanks for the tip on Grenada Dennis ill be there this spring.
a black and char tube with a 1\16th round head painted ruby red
