NEA Role Call
Newly registered but have been absorbing many of your pointers and techniques. Just wanted to see who all resides in NEA and where you usually fish
Name's Andrew i'm a student at ASU and moved to harrisburg in the past year; i spend most of my time fishing Lake Poinsett so if you see a camo xpress with a 50hp mercury stop by. Since my dad raised me up a bass fisherman I am new to the crappie world and enjoy learning about the ways to land those slabs. Here are a couple pictures of my catches at Poinsett, the first was early summer and the second was yesterday afternoon. the last pic is my rig i picked up a month ago

Welcome, I too fish poinsett. Those are good looking fish from that body of water. I fish around in a camo 16/48 war eagle with 30hs yamaha. There's quite a bit of folks from NEA on here and many are great to help with info.

Welcome Andrew from Southeast Arkansas! That's a great looking rig you have there....it has CRAPPIE wrote all over it. It'll catch fish just like it is. OR if you want to spend some money and get into all the different aspects of the sport just add rod holders all the way around and a 24V Terrova......Oh, don't forget the electronics! Need a big screen HD up front to play with while trolling.....then you'll really be set up. Thumbs Up Weaning yourself off the green carp shouldn't be too hard.....had my son completely off them in less than a year once he decided to get serious about fishing.

Your off to a good start and C .com is also a good place to be. Sweet boat too. My first boat was two old car hoods welded together and for power I had a 4' long 1x6. Welcome from Lake Dardanelle and surrounding areas.
