What is the difference in the hulls between a Ranger Z21 and a 521. Wb, you up on deck!
The Z521 has 2 rails that run down the inside of the rod lockers from the consoles to the bow and make it almost impossible to mount double seats on. It can be done ive seen it but the gut said it took 6 hours.
May be some more differences other than that, but thats all that really matters to us!
The newer ones on both models have those bigger. Just wondering about the difference between a Z hull and non Z hull, Z21 or Z521 vs just a 521vx.
They may, Ive never seen a 500 series comanche with the exposed metal rails tho. I cannot answer the hul questuins. Just attest to the superior ride of the 522dvx
Reason is...I really want an Intracoastal salt water model, the only ones I've seen are Z21 hulls.
You might have to get an add a seat.
Nah, they don't have the deck rails on the Intracoastals.
It looks like the Z500's dont have the rails, must just be the Z20 and the Z21's
What kind of salt water fish are you going after? DD may be able to put you on some fish.
Going for Tuna next week out of Venice. I want the Intracoastal because it has no carpet, other than that it is just an ordinary bass boat. Just don't want to have a big ole boat with mashed minner carcasses embedded in the carpet. I like to hose em out and be good to go!Quote:

Just an ordinary bass boat? Not in my book even though I don't bass fish anymore. If its a Ranger, well unless you have never owned one, you may not understand. My bank account said I did not pay an ordinary price for my Ranger. That ok though, you get what you pay for.Quote:
