Art Payne at Propeller Service is the best. David is good but his father was the pro. What's your question?
Got 36% slippage on what I am running and have 13 degrees of "hook" I am trying to get out. Need a prop with a lot of lift.
You need to talk to the people at Sola they helped me out a bunch and really willing to talk to people.
Solas?

Call Art or WB, probably Art would be the best.
What size engine and prop are you running?
Yea Solas

Torch, call Power Tech Props in Louisiana. They are the best, and if you know the RPMs your hitting, they will put the information in the computer and figure out what you need. Don't have their number now, but you can google em. They do have a free exchange program also, if you don't like the prop they send you.
Sounds like you need more cup. Cup equals Grip.
If Power Tech gives you an answer, check with me before you buy one. I bought one several years ago as a spare and never used it. It's a 4 blade and I will make you a deal.
I have a 125 merc with a sportmaster gear case, 15 spline 4" hub.
I think mine is a 21P for a 150 Mercury.
Holic if yours is a 4 blade I would like to try it, Powertech says I need a 22 but I will try a 21
I run a 23P 3 blabe on my Mariner 150 and Power Tech said I needed a 21P Four blade. I would think a 115 Merc would use a 20P 3 blade and a 18P 4 blade. If you can catch him Monday, call Jerry Scott at C&S Marine in Flowood. He is probably the best person that can fit your motor with the right prop and he probably has what you need. You are welcome to try the Power Tech.
Torch this guy is the best as far as I have hear...I sent him our prop earlier this year and told him what was wrong with the boat and how it ran and I got the prop back and it does everything he said it would...he is highly recommended on bass boat central

Are you not getting the rpm's or the speed?
Holic , no matter how much he trims up the bow wont get enough lift without breaking water.
try dropping the motor down a hole or lower it if it has a jackplate...it will help the prop bite a little more
I have the center of prop shaft.11" under the bottom of boat

I/m thinking you're going the wrong way. I'd be going up Instead of down. I have mine as high as I can and you can fill the lift once it is on full plain.
11" under the bottom of the boat sounds really really low...you should probably be around 4-5 inches...most bass boats run 2-4 in below pad
if you were meaning .11" than that is definitely too high
Nope 11" under
Not sure about Metal Boats but that is bad low on a glass boat. Will say this, when you raise the motor RPM's should go up so you are still in the prop market. I have been playing with mine and have it almost where I want it. Noticed it lost it's bite a couple of times in the rollers on Sardis Saturday, gonna drop it a quarter of an inch and start looking for a prop.
Good luck, that ride is sweet!!
Talked to some prop guys and all say a 4 blade will get me the lift and boat should handle bettet

It will, remember if your RPM's are where you want substract 2 off the pitch when going to the 4 blade. 26 pitch four blade equals a 28 pitch three blade.
I am turning more pitch on a 125 than most guys running 150's

maybe he does have a bad hub and its slipping
Would splain alot.
Hey Torch, my last boat was a Venture TE, I was running a 26" double cup Turbo on a 175 Merc.
My cavitation plate was 5.5" above the bottom of the boat, I had good lift on a plane and it would
Scare the crap out of you fast!!! For what it's it worth!
