will get in high gear Wednesday when the terrova comes in. Put on led trailer lights, new drain plug, and fired the engine yesterday. I have some gel coat hull cleaner coming in tommorrow and will get busy on the detailing.

One question. Why just a 80. Why not a 101 for that heavy boat
80 will do fine. 1000.00 vs 2000.00 for the 101. MinnKota folks said the 80 would pull it at over 2.5 all day.
you better get some real good batteries Sat. It might pull it if there's no wind at all but you know every time you get on the water the winds gonna be kicking it.
dd, on our charger boat, we have an old evinrude tm, and it pulls our boat just fine..........eventually gonna upgrade to a terrova, though.
I ain't gonna tell you I told you so, but let me know when you figure out where you're gonna mount battery #3 and #4. Then I'll tell you I told you so.

yall shaddup and leave the ole geezer alone......dang
dd you shoulda got a 202 to pull yo big head areoundRofl
Hey Torch... What kind of Fiberglass Cleaner do you use? I'm trying to find some for my boat. Thanks for your help.
Do I have to start another 101 thread?? This one would be marketing 101 and the first rule is "once a person has made a decision, even if he did not choose your product, NEVER suggest that he made a bad decision as he would take it as an affront to his judgement". I made that mistake as a cocky. rookie Xerox sales rep and boy did I get my head handed to me fast.
I agree with Major, but I do think we need some pics of this ongoing project step by step. Its gonna be a great boat Sat and I am proud for ya bud.
i got on um fur ya sat now we being NICEHands Clapping
btw rees,dd and wb ifn yall dont like what he puts on his boat then read another thread this one is about SAT's boat:p
It's not a Terrova issue Major, it's a battery issue. Minn Kota is correct, it will pull Sat around the lake at 2.5mph "all day long" as long as he has the battery power for the job. Two golf cart batteries may do it but I'm sure four batteries connected parallel and then in a series would last all day. My Group 27 Trojans will pull me at 1.7 for 5 hours so another pair could net him an 8 hour fishing day I would think. Do you think two Group 31's could do it? I have heard you mention you have had very good luck with your 31's.Thumbs Up
Thanks Yikes dats what i was getting at n WB even agreed wif me. Hush Andy 4 I smak you upside yo water head
Yikess, I trolled continous for 6 and a half hours last Wednesday with my 80# Terrova....Two of the highest amp rating group 31's that you can get at 1.8 mph......no problem, I tested the batteries when we got through and they showed 80% left. You get what you pay for when you buy batteries.
My group 27's will give me 3 1/2 to 4 hrs constant crank pullin. That's why I've got 2 sets. I wish I could "test drive" a pair of 31's. I might could get by with one set. Plus I have a Powerdrive V2. I think a Terrova is more efficient.
This on has 2 -31's in so shatupp! One thing about it is YOU dont have to fish out of it.

told yall that he was gonna get mad............now somebody prolly gona get cut
Sounds like 2 - 31's ought to git her dun then. The Terrova's are shweeeeet!
The best trolling motor ia a 9.9 four-stroke. No Batteries.Rofl
Good point "G" but when you run the two simultaneously the combination can't be beat.
