Anyone have an idea what time the cooking starts???
I think I saw somewhere that it will start around 3:00.
I had an idea about fall camp......anybody know the head knocker at the Corp up there? Inviting them to come eat with us would be a good way to grease the wheels when permit time comes. Over the years when we've had a cooking out at Grenada we've always invited whichever rangers were on duty to come and sit with us or grab a plate and go. Normally only a few on duty, but they're always appreciative. Just a thought.
Wannabe...
They will smell it and show up in droves.
Nuttin like a little brown nosing. I know Alton very well and will make the call if'n its ok with yall

That's a very good idea WB.
Make the call John.
Good thankin' on the wife. All the camps I've been too, we've had more food left over than we actually ate anyhow and mixing in 5 to 10 additional mouths, if that many actually showed wouldn't make any difference. Let's see what everybody thinks before you call though Rees.
One thought....there has been some drankin' at camps past. With the man at the table, Don Don would have to provide green cups for everybody. Least till he eats and leaves. :)

Just dranking diet coke... What's wrong with that?? Lol
Great idea, WB. The more the merrier. Having the COE folks there will go a long way in the PR area.
Well, I had already left a message for Mr Pollan to call me and he returned my call. Did not know if he and the wife could make it but would pass the word to the rangers working. He was very appreciative and said he hoped to be able to make it.
