Nice catch md. Now I have to look on a map again to find another lake again. Have boat will travel!
Overcup is located at N. of Morrilton either exit will get you there but I prefer the west exit.
Nice mess of fish! Hands Clapping Were those caught on 7-17-11? Thanks for the post and pics.
I checked my clock at the turn off on hwy 9 to my house was 1 hour so I will be giving it a try soon.
Yeah I caught them on the 17th. Creek it has 6 or so boat trails and the rest is solid submerged timber. Averages around 8' deep with one strip of 20' water. I think I'm going to try Brewer one day then Overcup this weekend unless something else catches my eye, but last year at this time I caught around 300-400 crappie out of Overcup.
Oh, no they were caught on 9/17 got in a hurry.
You had some fun. Good bunch o (potential) fillets.
man some nice ones there. I used to fish overcup some time.
Nice mess of Crappie.
Nice fish MDP.
GOOD CATCH!!!! Those will fry up really good!!!! SO did you catch them on the pole timber or submerged brush piles?
Thanks for the post, that lake is within striking distance of my house. Mind telling me how deep of water you were fishing in and was the cover visable or submerged? Thanks
I use to fish Overcup and Brewer a lot when I lived up that way. I really enjoyed them lakes, have caught a lot of fish out of them.
Nice catch
Right now they are biting pretty much everywhere on the lake that is deeper than 5.5'. Most of the fish are caught off of the timber. The Michael's at the bait shop are real nice people and will try to point you in the right direction.
