When we were going up to Grenada this past weekend, my AC quit blowing and I started smelling Anti freeze. Got home and noticed the truck was dripping water out from under the hood. It's coming from this little hose in the pic which is right up against the dash on the passengers side. It's not dripping bad. maybe a drop every other second. I'm thinking it's the heater coil. What those thing runs? From what I've been told, they have to take the dang dash out to get to it
Heater cores are a pain to replace. Let's hope it's something more simple. How could a leaking heater core stop your A/C from working?

Is it dripping coolant or water? Coolant bad, water good!!!
you said your AC quit blowing, is it not moving air or is it hot?
turn on your defrost on high heat, see if your windsheild gets slick.
if it's slick it's the heater core.
It's prolly your condenser core and it's supposed to be dripping. If it stopped blowin, then your fan motor or the fan motor switch has laid down on ya.

no, it still blows but it's not cold any more. Just whatever the air temp is out of the AC. I SMELL Antifreeze when the trucks a runnin
There is a moisture buildup on the windshield Tush. It's been a long time (over 20 years) since I've had a heater coil go out and I'm pretty sure that's what this is. I want to get it fixed by next weekend but if not, I'll just throw in a couple gallons of water into jugs for the trip up
You need to get it fixed, if it gets bad it will fog out the vents
And you'll show up with a sheen on you.

Trolling motor will be ready in a couple days so that only leaves the truck not fixed. EVERYTHING else is fixed ya gewb. BTW, I put an electrical shock security alarm system on the boat and the truck last night for the next time you sabatage anything. Only 20,000 volts so you'll feel more than just a tingle LOL

DD, if it is the heater core and it gets bad (and it will) you will end up with a floor board full of water and 2 gallon jugs won't touch what you will need to make it somewhere.

I HATE to say this but i don't think there is a way in the world this is going to have a happy ending. good luck DD.
Sounds to me like you might have two problems with the truck DD....First one.....the heater core is leaking.....second one...something is wrong with your A/C. Looks like its time to go see Phil.

I've been told that the AC shuts off when you get low on Anti freeze in your truck for some reason. Some kinda sensor I recon
