Does any one have any jig heads this size? The blue one is a 1/32oz. The Orange one is what I'm looking for. Not sure the size, but it's a Bluegill getter. It's a little smaller than the blue one....

Looks like a 1/32 ballhead with a gold size 8 hook... How many you needing? And do you want them painted orange??
But if its a hair smaller it could be a 1/64 size 8

P thought that maybe a 1/48 oz with a #10?? nice color head.

The number 10 hook is a gill getter for sure. I take and tie a thread neck on a 1/80-size 10, and flat wear out the trout when they wont bite nothing else
So do you have any?
Got a couple samples the other day, but they are way smaller with #14 & #16 hooks, LOL! Don't remember the weight, but man talk about tiny jig heads with hooks.

Skip good to see you back posting. Hope your about back to normal. #14 and #16 come on have to get out the microscope and small tweezers for that size. If they can hit a #10 there to small to bother with. LoLs.

We use them for bluegills in the winter & summer. A fish is a fish is a dinner...lol
Thanks and yes I feel better, not 100% yet and day before last I tweaked my back which has plates and screws it and that took over as my biggest trouble right now. It will be okay in a few days though. Just hope the other problem is not my gallbladder as that was what I got a UT for Tuesday so should know soon.

I have a 1/50 round and u have to really squint to tell a difference in it and a 1/64. Might can pour a 32nd hard and get by calling it a 48! :)

Think that Robert at Crazy Angler has about every size. Have to admit that I have several odd sizes myself. 1/24 oz. and 1/48 oz. even have one that is very close to 1/80 oz. for a #10 hook. Making molds isn't that hard. I had a guy that made them for years teach me. He had almost all of his equipment home built only his drill press and lathe were from the factory. He pressed all his slugs in to aluminium with a press added hinges and a handle and you were good to go. some of his heads were very unique. and I still use some of his molds to this day. Guess I have just been very lucky to learn this skill need to do more of it.

I found some 1/50th. oz ball heads today with no collars, almost like the one in the picture. Had to settle for Chart. couldn't find orange, but that should work for bluegills. I don't guess any of you guys have anything like a 1/50 oz. in different colors?
Crappie 1 If you want them in different colors you know that you can paint them with powder paint. A small jar of powder paint will run some where in the vicinity of $3 the only other thing you will need is a small butane lighter and needle nose pliers. Heat the jig head to a count of three dip into the powder paint and bake in your oven for 12 to 15 minutes at 30 degrees. Skip has a good list in the stickys at the top of the forum as to curing times for different colors of powder paint. That way you can have any color of head you want. Several suppliers have and will mix up any color that you need. Just ask someone like Crazy Angler. You might check around and see if he has any 1/50 oz on a sickle hook unpainted then buy a couple of jars of different colors of powdered paint. for $15 you can have 100 jig head that= couple years fishing.
