By tourney time is gonna be 207 or so. Will have to be careful and be sure you know where your going, gonna be alot of fats with about a foot of water on em. Coarse a big rain or the COE opening the gates some more or less could change it some.

how much they droppin it a day?
.2 feet, so that a foot every 5 days. 25 days till tourney equals 5 foot of drop. Lake is at 211.66 as of 6am today, that'll put it between 206.5 and 207 by the time we fish the tourney.
Got a question for yall, the gauge says the elevation is 211 this morning but my handheld GPS does not agree with that, like 12 feet or so difference. Why this is??
dunno.....you could ask WB and he would answer you but you still wouldnt really know the answer......RoflRofl
I don't remember the answer exactly, but the 211 stated height is said to be above sea level and your GPS is said to be x above sea level, but there are different standards for measuring sea level, so both are right, but both are different. Sorta like there are different standards for stating lattitude and longitude.

Dang man. Wasn't the lake around 207 when we fished it this spring?
Rees, I expected WB to say you were riding a large Grenada wave.
WOWWW, man, that is unbelievable
Turn your gps right side up.
According to the Corp hydrograph, the lake is on the usual fall. It should be somewhere between 207 and 208.
April 23rd is when we were at Grenada
Just for the heck of it, I'm gonna start keeping up with the levels of the I-55 lakes and the mud hole(Arkabutla). The Clarion Ledger lists them on the weather page.

Here is the site I use: Grenada Lake Water Level
On 4/23 it was at 211.10
Still gonna be 4-5 ft lower.
I don;t think I've ever been on Grenada when it'll be as low as we're gonna have. Gonna have to be real careful with the boat
fellers, we discuss this every year, but it has been like this ever since i can remember, 1976 when i started fishing grenada. usual fall draw down, starting in august.
Just remember to bring your extra prop and tools. Oh yeah. I don't have one yet!
I got a paddle LOL
I fished a 2 day championship in mid october one year when I green carp feshed and stayed on the ground the first hour or so and loaded up. Wasnt worth the hassle and I knew nothing about the Yalobusha side then, went to Enid the next day anbd still came in 3rd overall for the weekend.
It aint gonna be that bad but it will bear some watching, wont be able to cut some corners we cutting rite now.
I figure to stay in the main channel if I'm going anywhere any how
My log has 4/18/11 at level 208
Fished the 23rd, water was on the rise. Where brandon and trent caught their fish I had been standing on dry ground the week before.
Last time I looked, it appeared level to me, but I didnt run all the way up both rivers. At most maybe 1/4 bubble off from what I can tell.
