Hey,
I'm new to the site, but have followed it for awhile. I've really enjoy the info on various lakes. My fishing buddy and I went to the camp at Phils Landing. We fishing Monday and Tuesday morning and caught 74 nice size crappie. Fished in the Bayous and lake. Fishing about 5 foot deep in 6-9 feet of water. Mostly on Jigs. Fish are in really
good shape. Just the bit was slow.

Sounds like you did much better than my wife and I, fishing the main lake scratch, scratch, 2, scratch, scratch. Come on cooler weather.
Caught some both ways. most out in the open. The fish didn't seem to be on the brush.
