The campout is the weekend of the 10th of Sept. The actual fish fry is that afternoon about 5.00pm. Lake Nimrod at Carter Cove campground. The lake is on hyw 60 just past hwy #7, Carter cove about 6 miles west of the junction of #60 & #7. Most will fish and camp but some will just be there at the fish fry. Drinks, Plastic Silverware , drink cups, and drink ice. I talked to a young couple at the Cove today,who may sign up and they want to attend. I suggested Plastic Silverware to them. Looks like cooler weather which will be great for fishing as well as the Crappie Camp.

Nimrod, Since we are having 40 or so, I will bring my big Cajun Fryer and oil. It should cook fast enough for everything, unless we save small cooker for hushpuppies. Also picked up some plastic forks and drink cups. Still going to bring 5 gal of sweet tea and couple chests of ice. See ya around 1pm Friday. almost forgot but got paper plates too

Hey, man, I'm dyin' over here in Conway knowing I can't be there! :( Looks like you guys (and gals) are gonna have a great time. Just hate I can't be there. I'd prolly follow RCC around and pick up his leavin's from the dennemite! If this goes as well as it looks like it's going to, I think we ought to have one in the spring too! Maybe I can make that one. I hope someone keeps up with which Meatgetter catches the most fish. Also, I'm gonna be ticked if somebody doesn't take a bunch of photos and post them. At least I can look at them from Florida! Y'all have a great time, ya hear! Thumbs Up

Kena and I'll be at the campgrounds cleanning the pavillon, putting up signs and greeting folks. I have the shirts sent by slab along with some baits for those who missed out on the shirts. Creekslick and Meatgetter will have some giveaways too. Good luck everyone on a chance to win the custom Crappie rod. Laserbeam is down there with Goverment brushpile maps with coordinates on the back for everyone. He also has name tags also. Supergooser is camped next to the boat ramp parking lot in a tent. I Will be driving a dark red 2006 GMC crew cab pickup, please holler. If you have supplies for the fish fry that need to stay frozen ,Harold has space in his freezer. I will take them over if you wish , Harold lives in the little community here at the cove. Kena has materials to put signs at everyones camp to identify Crappie.com folks.
