well mr. B, got home bout noon, shower and a nap for this geezer because it was not a good day. took out small biz loan to fill up truck and boat, caught three right off the bat on a front hookless bandit, hookless because they had to cut it off to remove from my finger last week. never caught another keeper. then the trollin motor went out again and next my areator quit workin. and to cap that off a run in with mr green jeans, which was the best part of the trip because i didn't get a ticket. just got up, fixed a toddy for the body, and fixin to throw a hind quarter on the bar-b. gonna wait til tomorrow to mess with it and hope to be back on the lake weds while your werkin.

NOPE, first time i deployed it the little grey foot on/off would not work. so i flipped it to full time on and it works fine. just have to keep my foot on the control to keep it going straight. i really don't need you telling me i need a $1500 dollar tm, another battery and a rewire for 24v. if not that i welcome any fix you may have to offer.Quote:

B, thanks for your " i won't tell ya but" . well it ain't the switch . took it loose, plugged her in and pushed the button on top of the switch and wammo it works. so there are some places to look. from what i see the switch button is worn down or the plastic piece is worn either where it comes down on switch button or where it fits in the cradle that is part of the housing. thinkin bout coming up with something to extend that plastic part that come down on the switch button by a millimeter or so. pictured is the switch and the bottom side of the plastic piece. just to the right of the blue wire you can see the cradle it sits in. any ideas anyone. WS

That switch had a rubber cap over the button. That's

How often do you PM and talk with DD? I'm sure he'd recommend duck tape...that would give you like and extra 2 or 3 mm I'm sure.
Ain't no point in using something made to go in there I suppose. :)

th, thanks, your exactly right after i took a closer look. and B, you are wearing me out. i know when i first contacted you, you told me you were everything boats and crappie. i am sure you are, but i just don't have the wear all to store you vast world of crappie knowledge you bestowed on me. i don't have time to wait on the correct part. i have made do and got piece drying right now. if that fails i will contact DD for some duck tape 101. thanks for all your help, so far. WS (not to be confused with ES, at least not right now.)

WB, I'm thinkin DD has put WS up to askin these questions. They sound familiar.
got er done and back together, no fires, shorts or nothing. actually gonna take WB's advice and get the correct part. found it on line. now to get on my areator, caught the first fish mond morn, turned on and it filled in no time. bout a hour later i went to give the fish a little help and the motor came on and it wouldn't pump a drop. flip the switch up to fill the back, same thing pump motor thingy came on but no water. the white plastic pipe that pics the water up has a trap thing on it and i could not see anything in it to stop it up. wonder if the impeller could have broke. it sounds the same as always. just gonna have to do like the tm and dig into it. something tells me not to mess with something you know nothing about but we will see.
