I'll most likely make one or two trips to Watts Bar, this Fall. I also plan on hitting some local lakes, in the meantime. The only hunting I do, which is Dove & Rabbit hunting, usually doesn't interfere with my Fall fishing ... since I generally only get a couple of opportunities to hunt each species, and that's usually before my Fall fishing starts & well after it's over.
... cp
I will be out there thru Dec. if the lake doesn't ice over.
Usually don't fish much in Jan. and start back again in Feb.
Looking for information right now for Eddy Creek area on Barkley around Oct. 16-22. Anyone with advice please chime in.
I fish year round. I don't hunt, but I love hunting season. The lakes are empty! :D
Fall fishing is my favorite. I'll be out there.
The fall bite is a pattern that will last for a long time once you figure it out. The fall bite is the best of the year, hands down.
Absolutely! Fall is one of my favorite times to be on the water.
In the past I have not done much fall fishing but I plan to change that this year, I just bought a place down by Eagle Creek on Kentucky Lake.
I'll deer hunt enough to fill the freezer (quickly) then go back to fishing. Heck, I'll fish a few days, hunt once or twice, then go fishing again. I'm retired and once this heat leaves I thoroughly enjoy the season. Due to lack of available land to hunt I fished WAY more than I hunted last year (my first ever fall fishing) and it was super nice being on the water catching fish with NO BOAT TRAFFIC.
When the water temp falls below 80 I'll fish bout everyday!
I'll be out there. I am a meat hunter and usually only spend a week in the woods.

Fish year round as long as the lakes don't freeze.
I don't hunt, so yes I will be fishing. I have about 6 dozens shad in the freezer, so those fish better watch out. I also have a nice spot to get minnows, so it's all but on for me.
As soon as my honey do lists dissipate, I will be fishing 1-2 times a week, in the fall.

Fall and winter bro. Im a crappie fanatic. Lol
Eddy Creek's got just about everything you could ask for. Good ledges, flats, stumps, stake beds, brush piles, chunk rock, road bed, deep water, shallow water, you name it & you can just about bet it's there. Get's a good bit of pressure though. Once you learn the bay you can catch fish there year round.
can't wait for fall will fish alot even into winter.
Thanks Wiskers! Kind of report I like to hear.
Will be down there in November to do crappie fishing. Been going to Cozy Cove Waterfront Ressort for Four Years. I love it down there. Will be with the wife, will be looking for a home down there next year.
