Planer Bobbers

Just wondering if anyone else uses these?
I have eight of them and I use them all the time during my guide trips. I absolutely love these things.
They have helped my clients catch over 181 cats this year in only 9 trips since June 15th.
I only guide on the weekends and then not every weekend since I also fish crappie tournaments.

This is in no way an add and I'm not sponsored by them I just love using them and thought I would share with the rest of the catfish nuts out there.

include a picture of the bobber and maybe tell how it is used.

I just looked thru my pictures and you really can't tell what it is your looking at but I have a guide trip this Saturday and I will get a picture of them on water and on the line so I can explain it to everyone.
They work alot like a planer board pulling the baits out to the sides and straight behind the boat. Really cool stuff! Watch for my post on Saturday night.

Super nice stringer of fish!Never used a planer bobber before.When i pole fish for cats i use a heavy weight and fish on the bottom, from a stationary position.

THD, be sure to throw in a few hints about depth of water being fished, depths bait are pulled at, bait used, etc with those pics.;) That's a nice string of cats. Congrats.:)

I forgot to add that I run them anywhere from 4' to 15' of water. I use cat bait such as shad or bluegill and troll them about .5 mph
I like to keep the bait either rubbing the bottom or at least close to it.

You say this is in no way an ad? Sure looks like one to me. The site that sells these lists you as a dealer and your own website lists them for sale....................its pretty obvious man. I have no axe to grind either way but why not call a spade a spade ?

Ric, The day I first started this post I did not have them on my website for sale. But as of 8/5/2011 I now have a link on my website to sell them. I get nothing out of it so it's no skin off of my back.
If I find a product that really works then I like to pass it along and thats why I posted in the first place.
I really did not expect to have him put me as a dealer but he seen how much business I have been bringing him from taking people out on guide trips he wanted to use me as a dealer. This is the honest truth.
I guess I started this post two days to soon. If anyone was on my website before the 5th they did not see the planer bobbers on there.
But you really don't have to believe me its all good.

Hey Tom I got no problem with you or the planer bobbers. Im sure they catch some fish. I just wasnt sure whether to order them from you or the other two websites devoted to selling them should I decide to buy. Only thing is the instructions and techniques on how to use them are somewhat vague. How about a few videos showing us them in action? Good fishing.
