The Terrova is a piece of cake.....its great. Pulling cranks is fun to do and the Terrova makes it even easier.
Trolling motor tip #1.....disconnect the foot control and put in one of your dry storage compartments.....using the remote is a breeze.....lots easier than the foot control.Quote:

My Terrova Remote quit last time I was at Enid. I think there was a bit of moisture in it from where the buttons where worn through. Pulling 8 rods with cranks at 1.8 mph all fine. Remote blinked a few times turned course 180 degress and kept running. No warning except display went out and had strange partial symbols. Needless to say those 8 cranks were all tied together.
Unplug it.
Yeah.. After you spring from the back seat, climb over the 2 kids you have watching the poles.. without saying something they repeat and get you killed by your wife.
Me thinks I need to include a easily accessible kill switch or have a second remote handy for my my terrova just in case after reading these posts.Quote:

some of us are still using 15's and others have switched to the 20's and say they like them better. The next time I buy some I am going to try the 20's
