I don't think the paradise levee is as bad as we had first feared. I took this yesterday from 4,000 feet. The other pic is from Lake Lee.

am i missing the break. I just don't see it.
Nice pictures. Wanna fly over Ga and take a few of my lake to help my fishing out some?!?;)
I think you are right luvpt, it will have to come another major flood at least comparable to this past flooding for the break to have an impact. Thanks for sharing.
Don't look too bad, thanks for the photos Steve.
paradise looks good from the air but i heard a tree fell across the channel going into it, does anyone know if its true?
perty cool photos...
i know some people were fishing it a couple of weekends ago, unless the tree was more recent than that. not sure how they did though, but they didnt mention a tree or any good fish?
cool, i talked with arkdrakehunter today and he said that the corps had repaired the break in the levee. thats why it looks normal.
what about the tree man, did they get that outta the way too lol.
he said that the guy he knows thats been fishin it hadnt mentioned it so he assumed that its open.

Hey Russ, That wasn't David's boat just down from the ramp on the Lake Lee picture but it was someone we knew! He was spider rigging between the piles just to the left of the ramp and did pretty well. You ought to come on down Saturday and help us seine Ferguson!!! LOL!! I already have the crankbait rods loaded on one side of the boat and the spider-rig rods on the other! If we don't have any luck there we can scoot on over to Paradise!
Man I was going to go this morning but overslept. just couldn't muster enough juice to get outta bed. i am gonna go hit it with you guys. would be nice to have some more buddies with boats. is david bringing his boat or yall boat pooling? I may just have to fish paradise while ya'll try ferguson. Arkdrakehunter wanna go?
Arkansasbowhunter, if I didn't have plans with the family in Little Rock I would join you. We're going to see the circus with the boys, oh joy! Thanks for the invite.

Okay buddy have fun
Sounds Good Steve but im working week ends till middle of Dec. If you guys plan on a Mon or Tuesday Give me a call and ill be down. Thax for the invite
AAttachment 67713As of last weekend the sand levee has not been repaired. The Corp says they may not have the money to fix it. So evertime the river comes up it will flow into the lake.
Wow, that just didn't show up from 4,000 feet up even with the telephoto lens zoomed in. It was 105 degrees in the shade that day and I just couldn't bring myself to fly any lower. I wanted to stay up high where it was nice and cool. I'll have to make some low passes over it pretty soon. I wonder how high the river has to rise to get into the lake?
