we just got the molds today in I shot some of these new plastic baits they are called crappie slayer way that name is not taken I've enclosed a picture of them we cannot make them in 2 color more right now very hard to do so with the mold their are two different sizes 2" and 11/2" you were interested send me a PM or go to my site.

Now that looks good....is there a pocket at the base of the tail for a crappie nibble?
yes there is a pocket therefore a crappie nipple but it is small but it should work. Usually I put my nipples right on the hook they last for quite a while without coming off.Quote:

Looks great!!! with a small pouch you could put a small piece of alka seltzer in there and you'd have a bubble trail when retreiving your jig. It's worked with my 3 inch bass tubes so should work with yours.

Oh, I know that Mike....But anytime I can, I put them inside the bait....they seem to just last a little longer and work better. There is a difference between fishing the nibbles under a bobber bank fishing and slow trolling them with the boat also,and getting them tucked up inside is a big help. I use a Bait Injector a good bit on the tube type baits also. Yep.....Bob has some neat baits going on here.Quote:

I used to slow troll when I had my boat David. Now I just stroll when I can find an hour or two to get away. I would love to go to Sales Bar and marinated in TN and rent a floating cabin for a few days and just fish off the back porch. dadgummit Mike....be careful its supposed to hit 100 degrees today....way to hot to be working on a roof. I am going to stay cool and late this evening I may test some of Bobs baits out some more.
you guys all have to get together and find a reservoir that you can build a nice shack on and put air-conditioning unit and then you could fish in the hole in the floor.I've always wanted my private dock for my so I was going to put a big streetlight up overhead and sit there in the evening and swat mosquitoes and every other bug.
When I get to Mississippi next year I will look up G and we will really give your baits a workout Bob. Taking wife to movie and dinner instead of painting. Now I just got to come up with some other reason tomorrow. LOL
