Wish I could get the time to fish..haven't fished since last winter in OK. Fished a couple of times in Texas on Cedar Creek and Texoma, but that's it. Hopefully work will slow down after summer and I'll get some time to get out.
Gman
CrappieWhisperer here... name is Kevin. I fish Oologah almost every weekend. Occasionally fish Eufaula with my dad that fishes there all the time. I get over to Ft. Gibson every now and then and fish Skiatook occasionally too. Grew up down at Broken Bow so it's always gonna be kinda special to me.
Boat49/boat/Dale....I fish mainly Thunderbird with trips to Ft. Cobb, Eufaula, and Texoma thrown in when time allows.
Chris. I fish Oologah the most.

Nice to see you still hanging out with us crappie guys Jason look forward to seeing you aain soon
I am Bighook, aka Tony. I live on a farm in Nowata county and fish Oologah mostly, but also fish Kaw and occasionally Grand lake. I am not above fishing the Verdigris river and Big Creek when the bite is on! I never have a minnow in the boat, unless one of my buddies really wants them. I make the T-Bone Jigs sold at Jim's Bait, and soon to be seen in the IN-FISHERMAN Magazine; so you see... I can't be caught using a minnow! :)
I'm Bob, aka Aserioushunter. I do quite a bit of hunting and I fish Sooner, Kaw, Lone Chimney, and sometime Carl Blackwell. I know it is sacrilegious, but I don't get to crappie fish near as much as I used to. Mostly fish blues, hybrids, large bluegill/redear, and stripers. Plan on getting a boat again in the spring and hitting the crappie hard.
Crappie George: 3 of the 4 of us killed our elk in CO. On top of the mountain at once.:)

Whitemeat - live in Broken Arrow these days, but I've lived/fished all over the state. I'm slowly working on a boat right now, so I usually fish wherever I can hitch a ride...but my favorite for crappie is Eufaula. There are still a lot of lakes I haven't fished though, including Oologah, and I hope to eventually fish all of our major lakes. If anyone ever needs a "non-boater" for a crappie trip send me a pm! :D
OlJim, I live about half way beteween Owasso and Sperry. I have a slip at Redbud Marina on Oologah where I keep a pontoon boat. I fish the docks and South end of the lake. I have also been known to toss a few jug lines out.

Thought I'd introduce myself. I look a lot at the threads in here on jig tying and such as I like to tie flies. I live in OKC and mainly fish Overholser, Crystal, Hefner, Ft Cobb, Watonga, and Dahlgren. I was lookin' at those Cherokee Rod CO rods that one of ya'll makes. I told the old lady I was gonna get one next year at tax time, and lo and behold, there's no more. Anyway, I wanted to say hello. I also have two boys, 8 and 4. Th older one loves to fish and we're working on the little one. Nice bunch of folks here!

Hello all,
My name is Wes and I'm recently separated from the Air Force (Tinker AFB). Decided to take up a new hobby so I got a boat and I'm itching to get out there and figure this thing out. I have been reading through the site for the past few months and there is a ton or useful information. I've been out on the lake twice (Arcadia) with my new boat, didn't catch anything, but was really just trying to figure out how to safely operate everything. I live in Moore, and would appreciate any good advice from you longtime anglers or if anyone would be willing to allow me to be a co-angler sometime I think that would lower the learning curve for me a little. Thanks for letting me introduce myself and I hope to see you guys around.
hunterwayne flatrock okla i fish ft gibson , eucha, oolagah and any where i think i can catch a mess of fishThumbs Up
DSCON (David), I fish mostly Oologah for Crappie and Grand for Sand bass and Blues. I get a line wet at Keystone and Gibson every now and then. I sold my boat last year but am looking to buy another this winter, maybe a 16' aluminum with a 30 horse or so on it. Can't wait for fall hunting and then spring crappie! The summer has worn out its welcome for me.
