Storm water pipes have got to be big enuff to drain more water than you would think they could handle. In other werds, jus put a big a$$ pipe in the ground if they'd a hill around and a little a$$ pipe ifn it's flat land.
Rational design of detention or retention ponds require some thought. Are ya gonna stock em with bass, crappie or catfesh? Bass and crappie ponds need to be bigger than catfesh ponds. They also need some cover, but the catfesh jus need a good hard bottom so they don't taste like mud.
