First time I ever tried this kind of chenille and I think I like it. Going to have to look around for some other colors.

Nice looking jig. Love those colors together.;)
Sweet jig Len! I love the pearls, cactus, and ice chenilles!
It's a lot like Cactus and other chenille that look much alike, like Estaz. Some time it is just a different name for the same material and different companies just have their own name for it.
A fried came up here last weekend and only fished about 4 hours each day and just killed the crappie on one of my 1/32 Oz Black/Red/Chart and it was Cactus chenille he was using. He had his girl friend fishing with him and a fried of his and his girl fished in another boat, 2 days, 4 hours per day and they caught 276 Crappie and most were from 1# to 1.4# fish. Said it was his best fishing days ever and he's a guide from over near Austin. I think just his second time on this lake and never got more than about 200 yards from the marina.
Nice looking jig Len!

Len, can I ask where you buy that type of chenille from? Thanks, Gary
Len, that is a great looking jig. Nice work!
I have a few of the colors I use fishing in the Estaz which is similar. I like to use it twisted with another chenille as contrast with that extra flash. By itself, I think it looks good if you trim and taper it when you're done tying.
I forgot. Great jig as always, Len!
I bought, black pearl, white pearl, and green charteruse just like that at gander mountain a while back. Ive tied a few jigs with it. I love the white pearl.
I got a few more colors in the mail today besides the Red I now will test Purple,Pearl Gray,FL. Chartreuse, and FL. Pink plus FL. Orange which I have not tied yet...

that is some nice looking jigs len....Bottom right with the purple I bet is a killer
outstanding looking jigs I especially like the gray railing for a background it really shows the jigs off real good.
Thanks gentlemen! Never tied with this material before but it is interesting.
I got 1 or 2 of these styles on my site I think..I like using it. Gives them that full look
Len they look good. I have been using this and others like it for several years and they do well at catching crappie. For some reason some colors will lay down more when wet in the water, but all work.
Good Job,
