be careful adding black make sure that you have plenty a white to start with then gradually put a drop of black and stir do see what it looks like if it is too light add another drop gradually mix the black with a white here is something else for you to try using a white base put in chartreuse you will come out with a beautiful shade of chartreuse cream or what they call lemon meringue you will definitely be making more of this one we used it quite a bit.
thanks buddy i tryed 2 get u some of those jig heads that u were asking about but my buddy couldnt find any more sry. but a BIG THANKS FOR THE HELP. is ur website back up and running/
Last time I did that I think I used around 2% to 98% White and it turned out great. Had some mixed and my Grand Daughter dumped about a 1/8th ts of chartreuse in it. And it made a nice color also.

What was your mix ratio? I can get a nice speckled gray by mixing white and black in a 1:1 ratio...
were u asking me that richstick?
Some don't mix as good as others. It's a trial and error thing.

it sure is skip. i wil not ever get any of that flashey thread from crazy angler that stuff is weak
I only have one paint I actually mix my self and just buy all the colors I want. However I have been buying it for 5 years, but still probably bought about half of what I have in the last 2 years and most of that in just the last year.
What flash thread are you talking about? I am just not sure what you mean. I don't use any thread with flash, but I do have a good bit of very small chenille or body stuff like Poly Glimmer. I don't use it a lot, but it sure is pretty.
I will say I don't like weak thread for sure as it's a pain to tie with, but that said I have some for flies down to 14/0.

here is wat it isUTC TINSEL it sucks
I didn't see the picture, but looked it up and that is tinsel for flash and not thread. I don't like it because it comes on spools and to get it straight is about impossible. I have some silver and gold and just don't use it any longer. It would still be good fro flies and wrapping around the thread so make the body like this. You could use it on small jigs as body wrap over thread base or even over some other types of material. I use something similar to that for wrapping to make a nice shinny body, bit I also put a clear type coat over it. However I use something that may be wider a little, but still could work. Here is one I tied using what they call Lateral Scale over the thread.
