...do you guys troll at any one time? I'm thinking about getting into it since I'm a diehard longliner and was curious what is a good setup. Currently I pull jigs on rodholders off the back of my boat pulling 12 rods spaced about 2' apart.

6 by myself, 8-10 with two. Can do 8 myself, but in this heat the dinks keep you to busy. 4' minimum apart to turn.
What BigRiver said. 6 most of the time.
pull with 6 rods from the sides and push 4 rods from front with 4oz weights
6
I usually use 4 but sometimes just 2. If somebody is fishing with me, we will have 6 out.
I've been using six the last couple years but plan on trying to get two on the front of the boat. The six I use now are all in the back. Got three to four feet between each pole and don't get tangled very often.
I pulled one CB on Sunday with a bit of luck, might try 2 when I can get the stuff needed, but not going to do more than 2 as I fish solo 95% of the time, don't want to work myself too hard out there. I did enjoy pulling a CB, something different to tinker with and if it catches fish, its good by me.
I use 4. That is enough for me. I do it backwards than most. I have a center mount spider rig in the front that I put 10' poles in one on each side. I than put a 14' out each side in the back. For me it makes for easy turning when the front poles are shallower and shorter lines. The lines are 4-5' apart.
I was using 4 poles. 2 bass rods and 2 wally marshall 12 footers. Put trolling motor on high speed and pulled from the front of boat. Did real good at Greers at times, haven't done it any this year. Got tired of getting hung up and losing crankbaits. Still a good way to fish, just prefer to do it places with not so much timber.
