I'm like Mrs Speck. I don't care fer the veniggar based sauces.
What I do Is take a bottle of cattlemans and put grape jelly in it and cook it down. Also add some crushed red pepper to it.
I like a tomato based sauce. Sweet baby Ray's is my choice, no doctoring needed.
+1 on sweet baby
+2 on Sweet baby Ray's but at times I'll cut it with abit of my Home made Pepper sauce. Adds a real good kick to it for something different. Speck, try that some time man. Bout 2/3's Sweet baby Rays and 1/3 parts of Pepper sauce
I'll try that DD. I do like some Sweet Baby Ray's also!!!
The Deltas own BBQ sauce for me SHADY NOOK.http://www.nytimes.com/1995/03/15/ga...me-805995.html
I will also add pineapple juice, dales, liquid smoke, and some chipotle mustard to mine sometime
Speck, you might try Wickers BBQ sauce. It is vinegar based but has other spices in it. I soak ribs, roast and everything in it for several days and then smoke it.
Sweet Baby Rays is some kind a good, hard to beat.
Stubb's, It's real good. We get the spicy, put it on my wings
STUBB'S : PRODUCTS
We also do the sweet baby rays and sticky fingers BBQ sauces is really good too.
don't use sauce. Use home made rub----Texas style.
My son lives in Albuquerque and has a Rudy's about 2 miles from his home, took us there the first time we visited and now this is the best sauce bar non for us, nice and spicy. A couple of jar each Christmas for one of our presents, love it.

Go to 10 bones BBQ in Southaven and buy their sauce. Its won best sauce many times at large BBQ cookoffs. Can't beat it !
i lived about 12 miles from where wicker's was and still is made. peck wicker was the daddy of that sauce and it is sum good stuff. they have a website but most walmart's carry it. i don't know about this one but bill's bbq at kennett, mo has sum delicious sauce. don't know if they ship it out and i doubt they have a website. bill's is a somewhat hotter sauce but, to me, still mild but has a taste you can't forget. i haven't cooked with bill's like i have with wickers but use bill's on bbq sandwiches all the time.

several write ups about bill's bbq in kennett, mo. and of course that's where sheryl crow is from and no, i don't care for her music.
sweet baby rays, if I use any thing extra after the KC master piece spices is I sometimes cover the ribs in apple sauce.
Moma Hamil's has the best BBQ sauce that I've had.
Did you miss your Monday lunch at Mam Hamil's?
Didn't know they ever had BBQ sauce. I fill up on Fried Chicken every time
