MO CDC issues ????

I got called out in a PM this morning. I guess I am now the laughing stock of CDC??? I was also told of lots of back stabbing. All this is news to me but just in case anyone has an issue with me or the way I conduct myself on this wonderfull board my address is 709 Verna st Clinton MO 64735 and my cell is 660-822-6001. Feel free to call or come by and we can settle any issues you may have with me one way or another. Would also be glad to meet anyone anywhere they want if I have time to discuss or in anyway resolve our "issues". I do not see a problem with this site other than a few people stirring the pot from time to time about how good the old days were. Times change and i feel the site has to. But I do not feel it has taken a change for the worse like the same few have have brought up again. I also feel it would be easier for them to post like they use to if that is what they want instead of complaining about how it has changed. Because complaining will change nothing at all. If they reall want to make it better they need to go about it in a differant way. Then when people start posting about how they like it and have not seen a change the thread gets deleted just like the other times the same crap gets stirred up bybthe same people. Some of them we have done so much for in the past. Anyway my offer stands for "ANYONE" with an issue with me or what I have did to make this MO board a better place.

You along with so many others welcomed me here when I first signed up....you also offered help down at Truman, and help finding baits, fish, anything....I want to publicly thank you for that help. There will always be someone to complain, and sometimes the complaints get all the publicity. I, for one, appreciate the help you've offered, and I hope to some day wet a line with you.

Thanks for the kind words Vic. That is what this site has always been about. Helping everyone out new and old members. That is what I have always tried to do on here. Maybe some take it the wrong way but I have made many life long friends on here from helping people out. Maybe that is why some do not like the way I help people. Maybebi give to much info at times. But if that is what it takes to help people catch fish that is what I will keep doing. I am lucky to live so close to Truman and like to make sure the ones that have to drive so far and spend a lot in gas to come fish for a day have a successful trip. That again is what it is all about. Or at least that is what I feel the site is about. Seems a few others think the site is for something other than that. They complain about how bad it is now but can't seem to tell us what has changed to make them feel that way. Hard to what you do not know is broke. And as far as I am concerned I see nothing broke.

You all are a great bunch of guys, especially you Jared. I loved my trip to Truman and plan to come down again some time. I ain't laughing at you, and it's my site. Hey Jared--Thanks for all you have done for the boys from up Nort. You were the first one to welcome us & frankly everyone I have met at the two camps we attended have been outstanding. Don't post much (don't have a lot to say) and from reading the other post before it got deleted, a lot of other people didn't have much to say (that was good anyhow) Just stay being the man you are. If others have a problem with you, they have other problems they probably should address. Thanks again!! The MO board is still the best of the best!!

Thanks for the kind words guys. There was a lot of things said from both sides that may have been taken wrong or worded in ways that they were not intended to be taken. I think we will have it all worked out and get back on track. I know some guys are not tournament guys and understand their reasons for it. Same reason I got away from the bass tournaments in the late 90's. I have invited them to come fish with us or even me in hopes to show them how fun and informational they can be. So sorry if I offended anyone by my post here or on the thread that was deleted. The above offer stands to anyone still if we need to discuss any issues people have with me or the way I conduct myself on here or on the water. The offer also stands for anyone who wants to join us at a tournament to see what they are all about. I am even up for fishing with someone that has not before to show them how much fun they can have if they give them a chance. Once again thanks for the kind words.

Hey bud, dont sweat it. You, Monty, JJ and others have helped me on Truman the few years Ive been on here and I thank you very much. We have fished together and you are always welcome in my boat. I deal with hundreds of people every day and you cant make them all happy. You just have to be content that what your doing is right, helpful and courteous. Its all you can do brother. Your alright in my book.

All I'm saying Jared is I've shared with you how thankful I am for the friendship you've shown me and the help learning Truman. I'd never been on the lake until July of last year and I've gone from being a newbie to feeling pretty good about fishing it thanks to the help of you and several others that have unselfishly showed me the ropes. I also know I'm not the only one that's had that privilege, so if that's change and change for the worse I can't imagine how good it must have been previously. Many thanks again and I'm proud to call you and lots of other guys on here who otherwise I'd never met or known friend.

Yep, No question Jared is a great guy. I think we saw each other several times on Truman, but then talked for a while during winter fishing Monty and Ron's honey hole. I've enjoyed the friendship, and the information about spider rigging, as well as the fine Jigs that you craft. Keep up the good work, the rest will fall in place. Thumbs Up

Jared in my opinion you have went way beyond what most would do for people, and a hell of a lot more than one time, don't know what the person's issues are but, every club or organization has one in it, maybe you have found it?? and these are the people that usually ruin it for many others..... like nam says the wind blows, so let it blow right on by, the way it blows through my ears.........

Was with Monty and Ron one time last winter after their wifes fed them chili the night before, think I know what the Native Americans meant here ;) Seriously every organization seems to have a few that put heart and soul into it and a lot of the rest of us that reap the benefits. From one of the many to one of the few, thanks for what you and others put into it Jared, unfortunate if some times things get misunderstood. It happens almost everywhere. Saw a caption in a Peanuts cartoon once, "doing a good job around here is like wetting your pants in a dark suit, it gives you a nice warm feeling but no one seems to notice". One thing got to say, it floors me if people make out a competition between "my lake" and "your lake". Heck fire, enjoy them all, truth be told would tickle me if Truman attracted a bit less attention. :D

Not sure what exactly was said, or WHY it was said, but personal attacks sure ain't the answer to whatever problem that person has. I've met you a couple of times now and always thought you were a heck of a nice guy. Listen to the good stuff, and ignore the other...... easy to say, but I know hard to do sometimes. Jared, from what I've observed in my time here on CDC YOU (and quite a few others) go above and beyond to help out anyone that is respectful and asks for help! That's what it's all about. Don't lose any sleep over this! You can't please everyone all the time and then there are always a few folks that aren't happy no matter how good things are. :(

I would say "above and beyond" is the normal way you operate. Willing to serve as camp host, put everything together so folks can enjoy coming to camp and celebrate the true meaning of this board; fellowship and the sharing of information to make everyones time on the water or at the camps enjoyable. You, my friend, are what this board is all about. Thank you Jared!:)

Bought a couple of rods from him and he dropped them by a store to save me freight. I hadn’t even paid for them yet. He didn’t have too but just like others said going out of his way to help someone else.Thumbs Up

There always seems to be one or two who will always have an issue no matter where they go and will complain. Unfortunetly they don't look in the mirror and realize it's them and not the rest of the world. I haven't met you yet, or maybe I have and forgot, but I see no reason why someone should have an issue with you. Like everyone else has said, keep on keepin on and thanks for what you do!
