A good friend of mine is over there on his pontoon and smacking them down. He is pushing H&H spinners and Ratl traps and puling Bandits.
He is running 20 poles and it is worjing him and his crew to death.

I was gonna head over that way this weekend but I ended up having to work a tourney.... Hope they stay on fire for the FJ
I have a guide trip at Sardis this weekend
How well does pushing the ratl traps work and how much different is that than pushing cranks? I got a TON of ratl traps and heck they ain't gettin used for carp no more
I first thought Satdoc was taking him but then I thought "Who's taking him".RoflRoflRofl
yeah the ratl traps work just like the cb as far as pushing. They had 4 man limit 80 keepers by 12.30 that is strong right there!
Dern, it takes two of 'em to put up with you? Sat must be tougher than I thought.
Wannabe...
Torch, You and Sat not fishing the MCC Saturday??
No Have a guide trip to Sardis Saturday and Sunday!
Oh ok. You gonna take the sure money ! Is Sat gonna fish the tournament?
I fished there yesterday and caught mostly small fish. only 6 keepers and caught them the old fashion way; with a minnow under a bobber around the brush. Good luck on your guide trip .
Watching Satdoc post is like watching an episode of Grumpy Old Men!
I dont understand you Sat!! Your FJ tournaments are run the same way our MCC tournaments are and you have a problem with them. It seems to me that you want fish MCC because you CAN NOT compete.. Another reason why you should be president of the grummpy old man club!!!
Sat can't compete? I'm sorry don't know you personally but I do know sat and torch and KNOW they can catch some fish.
As for competing, if we were fishin for money, the FJ's wouldn't be my first choice. But they're dang fun and nothin like some good competition with people who are pretty good friends.
I can smell a cutting.Doh
Double teaming Sat and all he's got is Mo backin him. This could get fugly. Move over Mo.
Ms Slab, why you wanna stir the pot? I don't wanna fesh yo tourneys either and it ain't because of yo sign in weigh out.
Weren't you gonna try and fish some of our tournaments too MS Slab? I mean throw rocks at sat for not wanting to fish yours and then you not fish at least a few of ours? That you said you would fish if a few of us got involved ya'lls trail? Somebody correct me if you did fish some earlier in the year that I was unable to make because of school. If you did I will apologize and buy you a lunch and have the shame of once again having shown my gewberness.
I wasn't trying to stir the pot at all but at the same time I don't understand why sat has to bash MCC. I'm fine with you guys fishing the tournaments, as well as, not fishing the tournaments. I do know it’s hard to hold a tournament the size of MCC's tournaments without holding registration and a weigh-in. I know for a fact the reason Sat is upset about the weigh-in is because it took so long at the Arkabutla tournament. This was the first tournament of the year and the first for some that were running the weigh-in and it took longer than normal. MCC is no different than your crappie.com tournaments. This organization has been around for 19 years far longer than me and any other crappie organization in the country. There have been many great friendships formed through the club and hanging around the weigh-in wasn't as bad as it was on some it seems.
Mo Money I did fish the Rez tournament! Not that I have to justify my actions but I have a two year old son, I fish 12 MCC tournaments a year and several Crappie Master tournaments. There are just so many weekends in the year!
I hate if my intentions were taken the wrong way. I welcome all of you to fish MCC. I just hate to see something I'm invested in getting bashed. There must be something positive about MCC for it to last as long as it has and continue to grow. All I have ever wanted to do on this site is promote a crappie organization to crappie fishermen. I understand not everybody is interested in fishing tournaments. Believe it or not we have non-fishing members that just like to come to our Friday night get togethers and receive our news letter. Speaking of get togethers we are having a shindig at Sardis. We have a crew coming in and cooking a whole hawg with all the fixings. If your around and know where Les Smith's cabin is stop by and introduce yourself! We aren't as bad as some make us out!
Thats true. Like I said I will apologize for that statement because I was not sure of the facts, and I understand about only having so much time. I hold two executive positions in my fraternity, am a full time student, and work 30-35 hours a week. I would love to fish some bigger tournaments but, realistically, it would be a waste of my time. I couldn't prefish, I have never seen half the lakes, and on my income I for sure wouldn't be able to do it but once or twice a year.
For the register and weigh in delays, it happens. Nobody can have everything perfect every time. New people running it will take a time or two to get everything flowing smoothly. If I enjoyed fishing the tourneys enough, waiting in line wouldn't matter to me. And if Sat doesn't like it, well then he don't like it.
I didn't mean to offend anybody but anybody questioning Sat's ability to catch fish is gonna rub me wrong. He and torch have taught me so much and I have seen them flat fish circles around me, and outcatch me probably 10 to 1. So I'm done now. And MS Slab, I apologize for speaking before I knew the facts. You made good on your word. I owe you a lunch...
MO, I don't think it was really MS Salb doing the flinging, I think it was MSCRAPPIE. Settle down Ms Slab...and you to MO! I will do all the karate chop action around here
True T-man. Apologies again MS Slab.
Mo Money no apoligies necessary! For the record I'm from Cleveland and know Torch and Satdoc both. My original post was more about poking fun like most do on this site.
I really hate it when these squabbles break out on here. I fish with both groups and have made some great friends in each, I dontfish them in the hope that I win any money, just for the fun of it and both groups have good Fri night get-togethers. I wish there was more crossover both have really good folks.
That splains alot right there. Cleveland? For real? So you first cousin is your brother and your uncle is your nephew? Dang inbreedin hehe
Question, if all the MCC fellas aren't as bad as their made out to be, are all of 'em better looking or worse looking than you MS Slab?.....I thnk that could be a deal breaker for me. Afterall, life is too short to fish with ugly folk. Hehehehehe
How come we don't have a pot stirring emoticon?
Wannabe...
At least we at the FJ's dont have to put on a BIG SHOW. We weigh in as they come in cause some want to get it done and do other things . not stand around and make a big todo over it. Besides the only reason I started fishing with yall was because YOU said yall would also start fishing with us, THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED especially on YOUR PART!!!!!!!!!
I one day hope to be able to travel and fish lots of tourneys too maj. I just dont have time nor funds now. Possibly in the future, because just in our small FJ tourneys I've met a ton of great people and I think there's alot more just like em out there. And if I was tryin to get rich, I wouldn't be crappie fishing, I'd be working!
SO!, Torch are the fish still biting at Sardis like this thread was supposed to talking about. Come on man...get us another update
Tritons right....lets get back on the subject....how are the fish biting at Sardis? Any size to them? crankbaits or what?
Well from the sounds of the report earlier, I may need to take off a day next week and try em out!
Catching 100 fish by lunch time has not been hard to do....catching more than 20 keepers has been tuff though. I'm sure it happened, Torch has never been known to stretch the truth.
