I guess not.
Guess you are planning on fishing the Crappie Masters? Good luck getting info out of these guys. Some of these guys wont even tell you what river system they are on when they catch a fish...
Lake Jordan has some good fish and you should be able to use the method of your choice, from what i have heard. I have not fished the lake but know several people that do.
I just assumed everybody was as free with info as I was. My mistakeDoh
If I can get some info out of the guys I know, I will pass along.
Greatly preciated.....Tiered of fighting ever changing river conditions.
I hear you on the river conditions I fish around Jackson lake and Cooters pond. I hear alot of people talk about fishing a bridge at night my I'm thinking that would be Blackwels. You can also call 1(800)525-3711 they will let you know they are running water. Good luck
Thanks for the number.
I am interested too. The river does make it challenging. Jordan looks good from the air on Google, but I wish there were better maps available for whats under the water. Anyone got a tip for a good detailed map? I really don't look forward to running $4+ gas all over the river and the lake to try and get an idea of what is available to fish. How much does the lake fluctuate. I know the lakes above tend to rise and fall a lot in the spring. Hope we don't get any tropical stuff during September, or any month for that matter.
You might check out the information, maps and GPS coordinates for fish habitat
spreadsheet here on the Alabama Power's Lake Jordan website.

Thanks rlshunter. BiggerJigger holler when you know you are headed over. Would like to meet up with you. I hope to make a few trips before mid September. Would like to talk about Grenada some too for next year.
It's not a real big lake. Alabama power runs the water level so they keep a pretty set schedule unless alot of rain. Lot of boat docks.couple of creeks. Stripes are good by Mitchell Damn when 2 or more turbines or on.I've done alot of bass and stripes there not much crappie.
