It is until you get to Bolivar, then it goes down to two lanes. Dont speed, there are lots of speed traps through Oakland and the other small towns.
It's four lane all the way past savannah torch... May be easier to go 78 to Corinth and then 45 to selmer... Highway 45 N will take you to 64 then head east. They are working on it leaving savannah headed towards lawrenceburg. Hope this helps.
There's quit a bit of road construction between Savannah and Waynesboro. It's still 2 lane there as well. Ya best route would be Hwy 72 to Florence and then go north.
I've got no idea. But I feel sorry for the fella that owes you money in Tupelo.

Go to Tupelo and take 45 to Corinth.
Ifn ya wanna go to tupelo, then take Hwy 6 from clarksdale straight to tupelo then go north to Corinth. If you decide to go on to selmer to get on 64, there's a really good BBQ joint on 45 just south of selmer on the left. Got the best smoked baloney sammiches in the business. Get it with the hot BBQ sauce. The mild sauce taste nasty.
Might know you would know where to eat!
Have ya'll not seen Minner's bumper sticker?
"Life is not a destination, it's a journey from one boofay to the next".

he lives the American Boofay Dream LOL
Goodman Rd in Southaven will put you on Hwy 72 going east. It dead ends into 72.
Just get on the trace set the snooooz on 50mph and watch the pine trees go buy.
Just made this trip yesterday, to the same location I'd imagine. Jaco's? We went Hwy 72 to Florence then up 43 into Lawrenceburg. Coming back we went 64 to Selmer down 45 to Corinth then 72 back home. I stick with the first route but Florence to L'berg ain't no high speed 4 lane. You're going through towns on a 45-55mph 4 lane.
