I have not picked up a Bass rod in anger in 3 or 4 years now

and now I remember why. Too stankin' easy.

Managed 3 in a little cow pond out back of my in-laws during a birth day party. Note my prowess and years of experience paying off in the pic with all the kids on one side of the pond and me with the fish on the other. Classic case of fish driving there.

The fish really surprised me. I expected an overstocked little run of the mill cow pond, but all 3 of the Bass pushed 4 and were very healthy. One of the girls caught a chincapin that pushed a pound too. All the kids caught at least a couple or 3 each just running amuck unsupervised, which just happens to be their most favorite way to run amuck.

May have to revisit this little jewel before long.

Looks like the same fish to me............Why not post the picture of the red ear would have looked better than that old green carp.
