Heres my set up...Attachment 61667.Attachment 61666.Attachment 61665
Do yall use outboards or trolling motors to pull with?
Made the two racks on the back. Can pull 6 off the back, then I turn my driftmasters side ways on the front and pull 4 more, 2 on each side

We use a kicker motor but since we both switched to a terrova you can pull with it. Kicker motor used about 1 1/2 galloms of gas in a 6 hour period.
I used to use my outboard and a trolling plate to pull with......but I bought a Terrova and thats what I pull with now.
Keep it coming guys, yall are gonna get tired of me before this is over. Found the boat in the sticks and it has already been stripped down so I will be able to build the interior the way I want. It had been set up for stick steer with a 50hp on it. It's wide open and I think I am gonna want to leave it as open as possible. Will post a pic tomorrow so yall can see what I am talking about. Has inlet and outlet for a livewell and is set up for bilge pump. Old river boat looks like to me.
For once, no one can call this setup Janky. Driftmaster and done the right way. You'll see 3 out each side towards the back. First one in the back is a 8 ft rod, then 12, and lasty 16 footer. Then up front, you'll see another pole, it's got 6 oz of weight on it and you can either run a double Road runner setup or another Crankbait there.
Don you had the same idea as me, except I went off a T bar...
Works great to Mo. That was one of the reasons I bought the Bay Boat with the side rails on it. Real easy setup on it for pulling cranks. I took it out Friday for abit on the rez and pulled with the Terrova and MAN O MAN does that make it easy. Didn't catch any Crappie but found out that the Catfish were loving them some Chartreuse cranks. LOL
A lot of good ideas.
Pretty easy to reel them in through the sides of the Bimini top. Lots of hand and rod room
Wow!! Now that is a rare photo right there. DD reeling in a fish?
LOL, yeh yeh yeh. I hears ya
Bwahahaha... Hey gotta give him credit tho he did atleast document it!
i liked the other 1 BEST
I just added a hand rail on my Crestliner to mount my driftmasters on. It looks a lot like DD but my holders are closer together.
I have mine where they are cause of when I have the Top down, the rod holder mounts don't hit the frame of the top.
BTW, COPY CAT. never thought I'd say that about ya Creek hehe
Looks great, here is the boat I am getting. It is stripped to the bone so I can fix it how I want it.

Rees.....keep us updated with step by step pictures as you re vamp the boat. I always enjoy watching and keeping up with projects like this.
It's gonna be fun, thinking about a good medium blue in color and charcoil carpet in it. Thinking about putting 2 pedistal mounts up front side by side and then one in the back for when moving with the big motor. Gonna go back with the stick steer and have it where I or we can turn around and have an open boat behind us to work the rods and maybe a bimimi top on it as well.
Good luck with your project Rees, please keep us updated.
Yep. We like pics. And ALWAYS have plenty of suggestions on how you should spend your money.:D
I am open to suggestions, want it to be comfortable and easy to fish. Thinking about putting the livewell longways down the center.
A'ite now....ya can't post pics around here using them janky pic hosting services. It's da law. Somebody repost it proper like for me.
Wannabe...
What am posed to use???
I can see it just fine
Click on "go advanced", scroll down to "Manage attachments", Click on Add files, navigate and select then done in the lower right. It will resize and everything for ya.
Really ain't a rule, just the way I say things ought to be done. I can't see pics from here when they're done with a hosting service. And it makes me cranky. Then I have to whine. And we all don't want that now do we?
Wannabe...
See there, CN ain't just another purty member of the B clan.....she's handy too.
Wannabe...
My suggestion is to put the 235HP on there and use a 1x2 for a tiller and then take DD on a ride through the stumps up Skuna.
Wannabe...
If feel that the 235 is just a little more than a sticksteer can handle. I already get alot of comments on the 200 on my 18ft glasstream, dont have to listen long as I go by tho.Thumbs Up
