Try Monk's Crappie He is one of the c.c sponsors.
i think i have already looked. Im pretty sure he carries Kalin curly tail grubs but they are not in 3", only 2"
I checked some walleye sites and found nothing either. I think with the 3" curl tails and especially tubes they are not thinking crappie. The 3" tubes have even less of a selection of colors.
yeah i know and it sucks. as the summer goes along the shad get bigger and it seems like the 3" grubs will be the way to go....i may be wrong but im gonna give it a try.

SYG,
My brotherin-law and myself have been dying grubs for a long time. You might try dying a bubble gum tail with chartreuse dye.
We have been very successful producing an orange with a chartreuse tail. It can be deadly in my neck of the woods!
what kinda dye do you use? How do you get orange outta mixing pink and chartreuse? i thought yellow and red made orange. bubblegum doesnt have any red in it at all. bu thats def what i want in a 3" orange with a chartreuse tail. Thanks
I'll get out in my work shop tomorrow and let you know . I've tried many and some really work better than others!

Hey SYG,
65Pontiac hit the nail on the head! Spike it works the best. You have to be careful when buying though, there is also plastic coloring
that doesn't penetrate and will come off when wet. Also not all plastics will accept the dye. Have fun! We have been using the color that you're looking for , for several years. We even named it. Sometimes deadly and sometimes they won't even look at it.
Let me know how it works out for you.
i have used that stuff before, its more a mess that worth it to me. Maybe i aint using it right but everytime i do it gets all over my hands, carpet, etc. I used it for bass fishing and we dyied are worms before we even started fising and when they got wet the stuff started coming off, then it gets aggervating. Any tricks to prevent that from happening?
First of all if you value your life ,do not do it in the house!Women don't take kindly to yellow spots on their carpet. of course you ca always blame it on the dog.Everything is according to whose brand you are trying to change.paddle tails seem to have the worst problem, sometimes if left in the dye too long the tails will come off.Curly tails are easier.I put some dye in an old ash tray and
put several tails into let soak for a short while, till the color is right.I have also put the tails that are the hardest to change in
a sandwich bag with dye and close the top and leave alone until I need some. Its all according to how the plastic is. The shinier
the tail the less successful you will be.And remember there is dye and there is color. You need the dye.
I think im just gonna keep lookin for some that are already the color i want. Thanks for the info though, im not gonna speck fish this summer anyway im gonna do some cat and gill fishin along with some shrimping a lil later on, kinda gettin burnt out on catchin specks only.
