OMG!!!! what a pig.
Good lawd! Now, that's a fish!
Never imagined one could get that big. What they feeding them things out there??????????
The guy doesn't look too happy to have caught it.
as a matter of fact, he don't...
Look at his fingers, thet look awful big too.
if it is real and not photo shopped it might be for the shell cracker but not a bream.
Musta caught it on a downrigger and salt water outfit. What a pig!!
Something rather fishy (no pun intended) about this photo. :p That fish looks like it's about to give birth to a 'tribe'!!! He should've taken a picture of the 'shoulders' on that thing! Honestly, I think he used a gaff to get it out the water.. LMAO WOW :eek:
Here is an Arizona Fish & Game report on the catch.

If that's for real it is truly a giant. Holy smokes.
Lawdy! I sure wouldn't wade in that water if I knew that things living in it mutated to that sort of exaggeration of normal size there. (Imagine a similarly outsize snapping turtle!)
Looks like a lot more fun than the 5 inchers I catch...
thats awesome!
Its actually just a well fed gold fish
That is a Giant, who knows it could be true, that area of America has produced a lot of Bass over 15 pounds.
Yes, This is Real!!! Wow, this is the new World Record.

Wow, must be a great lake, they caught a 4 pound 13 ounce Bluegill last year from the same lake.

It always amazes me how big some of these pan fish can get. our state record for crappie was caught in Lincoln lake (I live on Lincoln river a mile up). The state record crappie clocked in at 4.2 pounds! :O
I just cannot think of the fight that a panfish that size would put up. For years I have caught panfish that fight like they are 4 pounders. Who goes panfishing with a 7inch worm?
Try out Tripletail sometime. They're saltwater fish that look and behave very much like a bream. It's tough finding 1/2 lb. crickets, though.

It is pretty impressive and it appears legit. Prior to this, I only heard of one other 5 lb or so Redear. The Cracker that I had heard of previously was caught in South Carolina in the canal between the two Santee Cooper Lakes.
He caught it while bass fishing. So guess we all need to start using 10" Worms for bream fishing along with 1/2 lbs crickets
